API method

vision.circle

Configures native Hough circle detection and returns a circle value.

Syntax

Atlas Script
vision.circle(roi?, threshold?, min_area?, enabled?)

Parameters

roi Optional
Optional region of interest: a four-value [x, y, width, height] array. Pass null when the method accepts a full-frame scan.
threshold Optional
Detection or matching threshold. Higher values require a stronger match.
min_area Optional
Minimum detected area to retain. Smaller candidates are ignored.
enabled Optional
Optional boolean that turns this configured tool on or off. Use true to process it and false to keep its configuration without running it.

Return value

Returns circle.

Remarks

Configures native Hough circle detection and returns a circle value. Store it in a circle variable; read and set circle.enabled, circle.overlay, circle.roi, circle.threshold, and circle.min_area to update the running detector, and read circle.results, circle.count, circle.target. roi may be null for the full frame; enabled defaults to true.

Examples

Detect circles and lines.atlas
circle circles = vision.circle(null, 0.45, 12, true);
line lines = vision.line(null, 0.45, 20, true);

event on_frame() {
    ui.status(string.format("Circles {} lines {}", circles.count, lines.count));
}
