Return value

See the remarks for the returned value and runtime behavior.

Remarks

PS5-qualified controller-name properties for use as arguments, such as input.held(ps5.l1), input.get(ps5.l2), or output.set_trigger(ps5.r2, 100). This view exposes PS5 names such as cross/circle/square/triangle, not Xbox a/b/x/y names. Members such as ps5.l2 are strings naming controls, not live input values; read pressure with input.get(ps5.l2) or input.trigger(ps5.l2). Feedback: a DualSense has every feedback family, so ps5 offers rumble, light bar, player LED and player number helpers, and the adaptive-trigger (trigger-effect and adt) helpers. Rumble, light bar, and player helpers require Remote Play output. Adaptive-trigger helpers are registered but currently have no VM implementation.
