API type

ps4

PS4-qualified controller-name properties for use as arguments.

Syntax

Atlas Script
ps4

Return value

See the remarks for the returned value and runtime behavior.

Remarks

PS4-qualified controller-name properties for use as arguments. This view exposes PlayStation names, including share, and does not expose Xbox a/b/x/y names. Members such as ps4.l2 are strings naming controls, not live input values; read pressure with input.get(ps4.l2) or input.trigger(ps4.l2). Feedback: a DualShock 4 has rumble and a light bar, so ps4 offers ps4.rumble, ps4.set_rumble, ps4.rumble.*, ps4.lightbar, ps4.set_lightbar, ps4.reset_lightbar, ps4.lightbar.*, and ps4.clear_feedback, all through Remote Play output. A DualShock 4 has no player LEDs or player number and no adaptive triggers, so ps4 has no player, player_led, player_number, trigger-effect, or adt members.
