API type

system

System-level helpers.

Syntax

Atlas Script
system

Return value

See the remarks for the returned value and runtime behavior.

Remarks

System-level helpers. Use system.log(message) to write to the Atlas event log and system.beep() to play a short Windows beep. system.controller reports the connected controller family (like input.controller) and, unlike input.controller, is available in any event such as on_connect. system.width and system.height are the captured video frame size in pixels, so scripts can convert normalized vision coordinates to pixels without hardcoding a resolution. Compare the controller family to constants such as controller.ps5, controller.ps4, or controller.xb.
