xb

Xbox controller-name properties for use as arguments.

Syntax

Atlas Script
xb

Return value

See the remarks for the returned value and runtime behavior.

Remarks

Xbox controller-name properties for use as arguments. xb is the Atlas namespace for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S controllers, including Xbox Remote Play; it is not an Xbox 360 namespace. It exposes Xbox names such as a/b/x/y, lb/rb, lt/rt, ls/rs, menu, view, and home; PlayStation-only names such as cross and touchpad are not members. Members such as xb.lt are normalized name strings ("l2"), not live pressure; read pressure with input.get(xb.lt) or input.trigger(xb.lt), and read a digital button numerically with input.get(xb.x). Feedback: Xbox controllers have rumble only, so xb offers xb.rumble, xb.set_rumble, xb.rumble.*, and xb.clear_feedback through Remote Play output. Xbox controllers have no light bar, no player LEDs or player number, and no adaptive triggers, so xb has no lightbar, player, trigger-effect, or adt members.
